I live in a small lake village in Canada with a population of 179. Music and performing are my greatest passions, and I love living in the country and spending time with my family. When my sisters and I aren’t hiking in the forest or building forts, we’re making music. I wrote my first song at age 7 and won third place in Western Canada for a classic piano piece. I began writing consistently at 12, using music to express my feelings, reflect on the world around me, and sometimes draw inspiration from my sisters.
I’m a country girl at heart, but I also love classic dresses and high fashion. Although my style sometimes drew teasing at school, I’ve always stayed true to myself. Like I tell my sisters: “If you like what you see in the mirror and it reflects you, that’s all that counts.”
I enjoy trying a variety of things. I won Ms. Teenage Central Alberta, acted in a sitcom and three commercials with my sisters, and completed the diploma program at Vancouver Acting School (VAS) between grades 11 and 12 while finishing homeschooling early during lockdowns. Music, however, has always been my true calling—I play piano, acoustic and electric guitar, bass, violin, and write songs, with the dream of sharing my music and making it my career.
After high school, I worked at our local radio station and then a city station, doing live broadcasts multiple times a day and eventually running the board for main hosts. I also taught music to children and adults before pursuing a bucket-list goal: becoming a ring girl. That experience led to my current role at Unified MMA, where I was promoted to Business Manager within a year—a dream job that reflects the faith the company placed in my abilities at a young age.
While I’m passionate about my current work, music remains my ultimate goal. I continue to hone my craft, work on performing in Spanish, and strive to build an incredible career sharing my songs with the world.
